This is going to be the story of how three young adventurers take their own fates in their hands and create their own legend. Whether the legend will reflect their heroic accomplishments or their spectacular demise has yet to be seen...
The first thing you who read this should know is that this blog is going to chronicle the adventures of three fictional characters from the fantasy world that I and three of my gaming buddies are going to take along a series of events called an Adventure Path. Those who play Role-Playing Games (called RPGs) know of a company called Paizo Publishing. Paizo is the company that published the Adventure Path that I and my players will be playing--it's called The Shackled City.
The next thing that anyone who is STILL reading this should know is that this blog is going to be both the narrative about the party and what happens to it as well as the meta-game information--the "behind the scenes action", if you will--about what happened during the game session.
I guess I'm being very ego-centric by assuming that anyone will want to read this, but I figured "why not?"--I love writing and there ARE gamers out there who like to hear about how other DMs and players handled this or that situation in the game.
We are in the midst of making the arrangements about when we will have our weekly gaming sessions, and then I will have to write up my perspective of how things went, so if I'm lucky I can actually post the first of the narratives this weekend.
